If you are having difficulty with any elements of ordering online for any reason, please get in touch with us via our Contact page or message us via the Whats App chat function displayed beneath every listing.

You can make payment with a debit card, credit card, PayPal and even Bitcoin, to pay at the online checkout.

We deliver Island-wide for a standard charge of £5. During this current Covid outbreak, we have increased our safe, contactless, island-wide delivery to twice a week. Order by midnight Tuesday for Wednesday delivery; and order by midnight Thursday for delivery on Friday. Please detail any additional delivery instructions in the space provided at the shop check out.

Online orders can be collected from Tynwald Produce Market every Saturday between 11am and 4pm.

Orders can also be collected from Ballakelly Farm. Contact us to arrange an agreed time, and when you arrive follow the driveway off Kiondroghad Road, and progress to the door with the green sign adjacent to the farmhouse. If you have specific collection requirements please contact us via the message function on our website, or through our Contact page, where you will also find our full address.

Yes, we can butcher our beef, pork, lamb and mutton produce to your specifications. If you would like produce that you cannot find on our online shop, either because it is out of stock or because it isn’t routinely or commonly available, please contact us to discuss and arrange an order. In this event we’ll respond with a turnaround time to receive your order. We will always try to accommodate or offer an alternative product depending on what is available that week.

We provide wholesale and custom produce to restaurants and catering companies. We also provide orders on scale, including whole butchered carcasses, to all customers. Yes, we are able to provide orders as gifts. We will include a card or message to the recipient on request. Please leave the details of your message in the space provided when checking out. Or contact us via the message function on our website, or through our Contact page.

We offer a range of gluten-free products, prepared securely and safely. All of our uncured, unmarinated meat cuts are common-allergen free. Our products are made in preparation areas where allergens are present, but every possible care is taken to keep allergen-free products uncontaminated, as per our certified, industry-standard protocols. Congratulations! If you have won a Ballakelly Farm prize advertised by an organisation that isn’t us (for example, through a competition on Manx Radio) please contact that organisation and follow their instructions. Some of our products are delivered frozen due to the smaller scale of our operation. This is to ensure maximum freshness when you come to enjoy your Ballakelly Farm meat.

We have a vast fresh meat range available at the Tynwald Produce Market every Saturday from 11am-4pm.

Farming

Ballakelly Farm has Red Tractor assurance, which is an industry benchmark. We are fully compliant with all specifications of farming as set out by the Isle of Man’s Department for the Environment, Food and Agriculture (DEFA). Our handling and butchery processes and facilities are guaranteed by the Isle of Man Government’s Environment, Health and Safety Inspectorate.

Events

We provide a range of custom events offerings. We are a small, busy team, so please get in touch with notice proportionate to the scale and requirement of an event. To discuss details, please contact us through the designated page.

Yes, we take chip and pin and contactless payments at our mobile butcher’s shop, as well as cash.

Once a date is agreed for a private event we will take a holding deposit, and send an itemised bill upon conclusion. Deposits are payable by card, cash and bank transfer. Catering for an event is a very bespoke activity, so let’s discuss your requirements, and payments.
