- 450 grams Ballakelly Farm Beef Mince
- 4 Tins Chopped Tomatoes
- 4 tbsp Tomato Purée
- 1 Large Onion Chopped
- 4 Stalks Celery Chopped
- 1 Whole Fresh Green Pepper Chopped
- 1 Whole Fresh Red Pepper Chopped
- Dried Italian Herbs
- 2 tbsp Fresh Basil Chopped
- 1 heaped tsp Garlic Purée
- 450 Grams Spaghetti

Instructions
- Fry the mince until it has browned and transfer to the slow cooker.
- In the same pan cook off the onion and celery until soft, add to slow cooker. Then cook the peppers peppers for a few minutes and also add to slow cooker.
- Add tinned tomatoes, puree, dried herbs, bay leaves and garlic to slow cooker and mix well.
- Cover, simmer over low heat and continue to simmer all day (6-8 hours), stirring occasionally.
- When the sauce is nearly ready Cook spaghetti to packet instructions
- Just before serving, mix in the fresh basil into sauce. Serve with spaghetti and garlic bread
